Forthcoming Special Issue on Recent Advances in Civil Engineering with the Goal of Sustainable Development

Publishing date:2022-06-08

Civil engineering has been playing a pivotal role in improving the quality of life, it focuses on the design, building, and ongoing maintenance of both the built and natural environments.

To expand knowledge of civil engineering in academia and industry and to educate students and researchers on the fundamentals of this area, we’ve invited Prof. Giuseppe Piero Guido, Dr. Alessandro Vitale, PhD candidate and industry expert Sina Shaffiee Haghshenas from the University of Calabria, Italy, along with Prof. Saeid Jafarzadeh Ghoushchi and Dr. Ramin Ranjbarzadeh to work on a Special Issue on Recent Advances in Civil Engineering with the Goal of Sustainable Development.

This special issue will be included in the Journal of Computational and Cognitive Engineering (JCCE) to shed light on the recent advancements in civil engineering and provide experts with insights into the improvement of human life and the environment.

“This Special Issue's goal is to give academics, designers, and manufacturers working in the many subfields of civil engineering with a multidisciplinary framework that they may utilize in their work” said Sina Shaffiee Haghshenas.

Paper submission begins from 8 June 2022 and end by 30 November 2022, topics of interests include but not limited to:
Transportation Engineering
Urban Engineering
Construction and Building Materials
Water Science and Engineering
Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering
Environmental Engineering
Application of Artificial intelligence and Machine learning techniques in Civil Engineering
Application of Fuzzy Logic and Fuzzy Systems in Civil Engineering
